pmx-log-summary - Summarize the PureMessage control program log

SYNOPSIS

 pmx-log-summary
 pmx-log-summary C<path/filename>
 pmx-log-summary C<path/filename> --reverse --limit=1000

DESCRIPTION

The pmx-log-summary program creates a summary of the contents of the PureMessage control program log. The log is specified in the log_to setting in the pmx.conf configuration file. The summary report includes:

• The time span covered by the log file.

• The size of the log file.

• A summary of warnings and errors generated by the pmx control program.

• A breakdown of quarantine actions.

• A summary of the reasons that messages were quarantined.

• The minimum, maximum and average time spent processing messages and connections.

Options

--limit number-of-lines

Only process number-of-lines of the log file.

--reverse

Process the log file in reverse order. This is most useful when used in conjunction with the --limit option.
