NAME

pmx-logsearch-index - PureMessage Log Search Indexer

SYNOPSIS

   pmx-logsearch-index start
   pmx-logsearch-index stop
   pmx-logsearch-index status
   pmx-logsearch-index reindex <YYYY-MM-DD>

DESCRIPTION

The pmx-logsearch-index daemon indexes new log messages as mail is processed. This daemon's configuration is stored in the logsearch.conf configuration file.

OPTIONS

START/STOP/RESTART/STATUS
Perform the request operation on the daemon.

REINDEX
Reindex from the specified date (UTC in the format YYYY-MM-DD). This will reindex all the relevant mail logs and message logs, including the uncompressed rotated logs. This will destroy all of the pre-existing data from the specified date onward. If the specified date cannot be found in the logs, the process will not run.
